We were very pleased with our stay in Dubrovnik at Villa Garden Toni 1. A beautiful location and the owner could not have been more helpful. The only thing against it was a bad sewage smell in the bathroom. It seemed that was not the case with the adjoining apartment. A can of air freshener was in the bathroom, possibly because of the smell. We found it an easy walk to the old town, and enjoyed the nearby beach.

Thank you for your email. Our stay at Villa Garden Toni 1 worked out very well for us. The view from our patio of the Old Town was very special. The walk to Old Town was a nice one. We liked being away from all the busy of the Old Town but having the ability to walk there. We appreciated the option of parking in Maja’s garage as parking was pretty impossible on the narrow road. Maja was a nice host—we didn’t book any additional side trips as we only had two full days there, but it was nice to know that was an option. We found your website easy to use and will share with anyone we know may be heading to Croatia.

We had a wonderful stay in Dubrovnik. Our booking with Andrew was easy. He helped find the perfect location for all of our family and extended family. Andrew organized the shuttle to and from the airport which went as smooth as can be. Maja was our host and she is one of the nicest people I have ever met. We rented 4 units in her house the Villa Garden Luka, Lile, Toni 1 and Toni 2. Our family came from Germany, Czech Republic and USA. What I liked about the house was that it was part of a family, we got to see Maja's children going to school, and saying hello as they passed by. They were all so respectful and it really added to the trip for me as opposed to a hotel. Each apartment was very clean and nice with kitchens and air conditioner if you wanted it. We all gathered on the terrace morning and night to share a meal and visit. The beach was just down the road and down around 162 steps which was awesome for getting in shape. The water was so clear and a beautiful shade of green and blues. It was refreshing to jump in to cool down from the heat outside. We spent many days down on that beach. The restaurant served delicious food and you could just sit there and have lunch or a beer or whatever in the shade where it was cool while still enjoying the view. I never felt rushed, it was nice. The tours are all around and very easy to book. We ended up doing a 3 hour kayak tour around Dubrovnik and the island of Lokrum. We also decided to take the boat across to the little island of Lokrum. Lokrum was great, it has trees and areas for swimming and hanging out on rocks. It is also historical so you can wander around the gardens etc. They have a restaurant on the island and delicious ice cream. This was a wonderful trip and family reunion for us!
